Mercedes Benz S600 V140 1994 

In 1991, the latest generation of the S-Class was presented at the Geneva Motor Show; its body design was based on the traditional Mercedes-Benz stylistic elements.

As with the SL models of the 129 series, the radiator grille of the new S-Class was stylistically reinterpreted as a characteristic trademark while retaining the traditional basic shape.

Only a few years later, in 1994, the S-Class sedans were presented with a subtle stylistic revision, resulting in a visually lighter and more dynamic appearance.

Another key factor in the harmonious overall appearance of the S-Class was the formal revision of the rear section. The lower radii of the trunk lid joints were rounded off in the same way as the coupé models.

The 6.0-liter V12 engine M 120 was also a completely new design and, with a rated output of 300 kW (408 hp), it also went down in history as the most powerful Mercedes-Benz car engine.

In 1995, the revisions again focused primarily on technical details such as the 5-speed automatic transmission with torque converter lock-up clutch.

The engines have also been revised to further reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

By September 1998, 406,532 sedans of the 140 series were to roll off the production line.

This is exactly the tradition that continues with the miniature model, which is made up of 120 individual parts and was created with the utmost attention to detail based on the original CAD data.

Manufactured to an international scale of 1:18, the hand-assembled precision model is painted in an authentic color and features a true-to-original representation of all interior details.

The interior and trunk floors are also flocked.

Six parts of the model car can be opened (doors, hood and tailgate) and allow a view into the interior of the car.

The model is delivered in a Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging including a glove and screwdriver.

This means that the precision model can be removed from the packaging without leaving fingerprints on the glass or bodywork.
