Featuring Corgi's innovative 'Trans-O-Lite' battery-powered lighting system, this wonderful Cadillac Superior Ambulance model lights up all four corner roof lights as well as the main emergency light. The first edition of the model in 1962 had an ingenious but unpredictable switch on the rear axle that simulated the emergency lights flashing when the model was pushed along the ground. A follow-up version in 1966 omitted the erratic axle switch but retained the clever 'Trans-O-Lite' system.
